• Insert pin into hole.

SECURE THE HITCH WITH PIN AND SAFETY CLIP.
• Attach safety clip to end of pin.
Test the hitch installation by pulling and twisting
the arm. If it comes out, repeat the installation.
If the hitch does not fit as described, do not proceed until you contact your
Yakima dealer for assistance. A poorly fitted hitch may become loose which
may cause serious injury or death to passengers and rider.

Hitch pin is in bumper
wing and is clasped.

Tension
adjuster nut
is secure.

Quick-release
lever is closed.

Pin is inserted and
clasp is closed.
If the lanyard interferes with any moving parts,
it can be cut and removed from the hitch.

Safety strap is
secured from bike
frame to hitch arm.
Thread the safety strap through the bike
frame and clasp the loop on the arm.
