Using the menu for each DVD
The title menu

Press the
TITLE/PBC
while playing a DVD disc.
The TITLE MENU will be shown on TV screen for a mo-
ment, and then the title menu appears. The contents of
the menu vary from disc to disc.

Use the

buttons to select the title (or chapter)
you want to play.
Depending on the disc, you can use the number buttons
(
0~9
) to select the title (or chapter).

OK
to start playback.
Note
•
Depending on the DVD disc, you may not be able to select
the title or chapter.
•
Depending on the DVD disc, a Title menu may simply be
called a menu or root menu in the instructions supplied
with the disc.
•
For some DVD disc, when you press the
TITLE/PBC
, the
playback will restart from the beginning of the disc.
Using the root menu

MENU/RETURN
while playing a DVD disc.
The MENU PLAYwill be shown on TV screen for a mo-
ment, and then the root menu appears. The contents of
the menu vary from disc to disc.

Using the DVD menu

To change other items, repeat Step 1 ~ 2.

to start playback.
Notes
•
In any FF (fast forward) or FR (fast reverse) mode press
the
PLAY/PAUSE ll
button to return immediately to nor-
mal play.
•
The sound will be muted during fast reverse or fast forward
search, except MP3 & CD discs.
Disc Operations
Press SLOW to play in slow motion.
• For DVD discs
Press it repeatedly to select the slow motion speed:
SF (forward) : SF 1/2, SF 1/3, SF 1/4, SF 1/5, SF 1/6,
SF 1/7.
Fast search

For DVD / MP3 discs
FF(fast forword) : FF x2, FF x4, FF x8, FF x20.
FR(fast reverse) : FR x2, FR x4, FR x8, FR x20.
For CD discs
FF(fast forward) : FF x2, FF x4, FF x8, FF x20.
FR(fast reverse) : FR x2, FR x4,FR x8,FR x20.
Slow motion play
GOTO ( Title, Chapter, Track or Time search )
This function allows you to start playing at any title, chapter,
track or time on the disc.
•
For DVD discs

again to enter time search.

3. Use numeric key (0~9) to input the specific title, chapter or
elapsed playing time at which you want to begin play-
back.

ing time at which you want to begin playback.
