Split Memory
Two different frequencies, one for receive and another for transmit, can be registered to
a memory channel.
1. Register the receive frequency to a memory channel
first.
For additional details on registering to a memory chan-
nel, refer to the “Writing to memory” (page 33).
To edit a memory channel that has already been writ-
ten, go to step 2.
2. Press and hold the [
V/M(MW)
] key.
The memory channel list appears.
3. Rotate the
DIAL
knob to select the channel number
that the receive frequency was registered to on step1,
and press the
DIAL
knob.
4. Rotate the
DIAL
knob to select [
EDIT
], then press the
DIAL
knob.

6. Set the transceiver to the desired transmit frequency.
7. Rotate the
DIAL
knob to select [
OK
], then press the
DIAL
knob.
8. Confirmation screen is displayed, press the
DIAL
knob.
The display returns to the memory channel list screen,
and the receive frequency is displayed on the upper
side, and the transmit frequency is displayed on the
lower side.

9. Press the [
DISP
] key to complete the setting.
When recalling the split memory “ ” is displayed on
the LCD.
While operating the split memory, to reverse the transmit
and receive frequencies temporarily:

When reversing the frequencies, “ ” will blink.
