XI. Firmware Updates

 

To update the Device firmware, download .ZIP archive from our site and extract BUPDATE.BIN file, take 

a microSD card formatted with FAT or FAT32 file system, copy BUPDATE.BIN file to the card root folder, 

power down NMEA 2000, insert card into Device, power up NMEA 2000. 

From  5-15  seconds  after  powering  on,  the  LED  will  flash  5  times  with  green  light.  This  indicates  that 

 

the firmware update is successfully completed.
