9 Troubleshooting
9.1 Common problems
Symptom
Remedy
The log in fails.
• Check that the user name and password are correct.
The default password is ef56 for config and cd34 for
operator.
• If the default passwords are changed, then make
sure that the new password is available.
• The passwords are case-sensitive.
• If the password is lost, then contact the local sales
and service representative.
The computer does not connect to the web tool.

Check and change the IP address

• If the IP address has been changed, then restart the
base unit by disconnecting and connecting the
power supply.
Graphs do not appear in the web tool.
• Download the Java runtime environment and install

The wrong language is appears.
• Change the language with the operator panel. For

There is no communication with the other units.
• The Active alarms list and Alarm and event log show
a communication alarm.
• The Active alarms list and Alarm and event log shows
the message No pump memory sync.
• The operator panel menus are not updated when the
buttons are pressed.
• The base unit does not register values from the
power analyzer.
• The relay module does not correctly indicate the
alarms
• Make sure that the wires are connected correctly. For

• If the communication with the higher-level system
does not work on Ext 1, then try to switch the A and B
wires on the terminals 41 and 42.
There are problems with the sensors.
• The Active alarms list and Alarm and event log show
a short circuit although the sensor is connected.
• A sensor shows incorrect values.
• If the wires for the sensor are long, then compensate
the distance. For more information, ,see
measurement error due to long leads
• Check that the wires are connected correctly.
• Check that the sensor functions.
• If the sensor gets its power supply from the base
unit, then measure the power supply.
• Replace the sensor.
