STEP 6: SECURE THE HOOD TO WALL 

  Use stud finder to find the stud and use 1/8” drill bit to drill though the back of the hood.

STEP 4: CREATE ACCESSES 

Use a sawzall or keyhole saw to remove the bottom of the cabinet area where the 
range hood will be located.

Install mounting brackets

 as shown in the left 

  Tip: please take a look figure 1 which will help you 
to have an idea of how it will look like.   

 

Attach a L

 bracket to back row rivet on the top of 

range hood by 7/8” provided bolt with washer then 
tight  this  L  bracket  to  the  back  of  cabinet  by  2” 
provided screw. Repeat this step for second L bracket 

 

Attach a Face Frame

 bracket to front row rivet on 

the  top  of  range  hood  by  7/8”  provided  bolt  with 
washer  then  tight  this  bracket  to  the  cabinet  face 
frame  by  1”  provided  screw.  Repeat  this  step  for 
second bracket. 

 

NOTE

: Adjust the mounting brackets so the hood can

STEP 3: PREPARE DUCTWORK & SINGLE OUTLET 

 

  Make sure you have a 15amp, 120V, 60Hz, single outlet on the left or right 

of the duct pipe (usually is on ¼ of cabinet width).   

 

  Make sure duct pipe is ready to hook up to the range hood before 

beginning installation (8” diameter duct, and roof or wall cap, depending 
on where you will be venting your hood).   

 

 
 
 
 
 

 
 

STEP 5: ATTACH THE HOOD 

 

A.  Lift  the  hood  up

  and  have  it 

placed below the cabinet.    Make sure 
to  center  the  hood  beneath  the 
cabinet. 

 
TIP (optional)

: since the hood is 

heavy, a cabinet or a car jack is highly 
recommended.   

 

 

STEP 7: CONNECT DUCTWORK 

  Connect the exhaust on the hood to the ductwork. Wrap with aluminum tape to make all joints 

secure and tight.
