CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Battery Care
The battery should be recharged as soon as possible after each use.
If the unit is not used for extended periods, the battery should be removed from the unit and charged overnight
every three months.
Only use the charge supplied with the sea scooter. Replacements can be purchased from your dealer or
direct from us at X-Treme.
Never place the battery in a sealed container when charging.
Never place or store the battery near a radiator, fire, etc.
To store the battery, remove it from the sea scooter or separate it from the charger, insulate the battery
terminals and keep in a place that is cool and dry.
Ambient temperature for storage should be within the range of 32° F to 77° F (0°C to 25° C).
Care After Using The Sea Scooter
Always rinse the sea scooter in fresh water and allow it to dry before storage.
Whenever possible, rinse the sea scooter in fresh water immediately after use.
To clean the sea scooter do not use detergents. Only use a damp cloth to wipe the unit clean.
The Battery Housing interior should be kept dry at all times.
If the Battery Housing interior ever gets wet, see page 15
– Accidental Flooding – for procedure.
When storing the sea scooter for extended periods of time, open the Vent Plug in the Inner Nose Cone.
ALWAYS store your sea scooter vertically when not in use to prevent deformation of the Propeller Nozzle.
