As you can link your ADPRO NVR+ device to up to 8 units (8 base units, each with up to 3 extension units), you
can obtain a total of 128 extra inputs and 128 extra outputs.
1.2 Requirements for Monitored Inputs
Monitored inputs are only available on the new Net I/O units. To use a Net I/O unit with monitored inputs, all the
requirements listed below must be fulfilled:

For a base unit:
o
The base unit hardware must be version 2 (V2).
o
The base unit firmware must be version 2 (V2).
o
The ADPRO NVR+ device controlling the unit must be running firmware version XO 4.02 or above.

For an extension unit:
o
the extension unit hardware must be version 2 (V2).
o
its base unit must fulfil the requirements as listed above.
If any of the above requirements is not fulfilled, the units will function as the legacy units, with unmonitored inputs
(only 2 states: idle/alarm). The new units are backwards compatible with the legacy units.
