CAUTION!

Install the cutting blade with care. The blade indicates its correct mounting orientation.
Therefore, make sure that the direction of rotation of the blade corresponds with the
correct setting.

Tighten the blade bolt firmly by turning it clockwise. Make sure all parts are installed
correctly and tight.

When replacing the blade with a new one, always follow the instructions given in this
instruction manual.
MULCHING AND MOWING
The
mulching insert
allows the cut grass to be put back into the grass undergrowth without the
need for a collection basket. Mulching cuts the grass into very small pieces that reach the roots of
the lawn. Mulch thus protects the lawn from moisture loss and, at the same time, serves as a
natural fertilizer. The
advantage
is the maintenance of the lawn without the need to empty the
collection basket and the natural regeneration of the undergrowth. The
disadvantage
is visually
less attractive lawn, which we are used to when using a collection basket. Nevertheless, a lawn
treated this way has a better look compared to using a classic rear or side discharge.

The frequency of lawn mulching depends on current season, weather conditions and the
height of the lawn itself.
•
A large number of world’s most popular city parks use mulching as a very common
maintenance technique for grassy areas. The ideal height for mulching is approximately
5 cm.
Use the mower exclusively for mowing maintained grass areas, lawns, gardens and front yards.
This machine is not intended for mowing large areas of overgrown grass and for the rough
treatment of grassy areas, such as meadows and wild, unmaintained greenery.
CAUTION!

Before mowing, remove all foreign objects (stones, branches, etc.) from the area. They
could damage the mowing blade, the machine itself or cause injury to the operator.

Always use personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, shield, helmet
and work boots when working with the device.
•
If the cutting blade gets jammed due to contact with a foreign object, immediately switch
the device off, remove the activation key and both batteries. Then remove all foreign
objects from the area of the cutting blade, or any accumulated grass material, if these
prevent safe restarting. Always wear protective
gloves!
