Make sure that the number on the selector ring is always
fully aligned
with the center of
the arrow on the top of the drill.
SPEED ADJUSTMENT
To switch between the two speed values, set the selector (
5
) to one of the
forward/reverse
positions.
The numbers on the switch correspond to the following settings:
•
Value 1: Lower speed / higher torque
Ideal for tightening screws or drilling with larger diameter drill bits.
•
Value 2: Higher speed / lower torque
Ideal for drilling with smaller diameter drill bits.
Caution!
Adjust the speed only when the device is at rest. Do not switch the selector until the drill
chuck has come to a complete stop. The internal components of the drill may get damaged.
TIP!
•
If you cannot set the selector to the opposite position, try turning the chuck slightly, or
make sure that the action mode pictogram and torque setting numbers are aligned with
the center of the arrow on the top of the drill.
DIRECTION OF ROTATION SELECTOR
To change the direction of rotation, press the button (
7
) on the
left
or
right
side of the drill.
To set the
right
direction, press the button on the
right
side of the drill.
To set
left
(reverse) direction, press the button on the
left
side of the drill.
To lock the trigger (e.g., to carry or store the drill), press the button on either side, but do not
press fully. The button also has a
middle
setting position in which the main trigger is locked.
Caution!
Adjust the direction of rotation only when the device is at rest. Do not push the button
until the drill chuck has come to a complete stop. The internal components of the drill may get
damaged.
LED WORK LIGHT
The LED work light (

) on the underside of the drill lights up automatically when the trigger (
11
)
is depressed. It is practical particularly in poorly lit areas. When the trigger is released, the light
turns off again automatically after a few seconds.
TRIGGER
To start the drill, simply press the trigger (
11
) with your
finger. To stop the drill, release the trigger.
