8. Configuring the X-Server session Services  

  
This section describes how you can configure the settings to connect to the Unix/Linux server as 
the so-called XDMCP client or X connection.  
  

8.1 XDMCP Connection Settings  

  
In order to connect to the X server, you’ll need to choose the “New” button with XDMCP item. This 
brings up the screen below for further XDMCP related connection settings. Please refer to the 
table followed for further details.

There is Query connection type. Please be sure that your Unix/Linux 
server is well configured to allow such type of connection.  
Another “Indirect”connection type is also available for selection. 
This option, when selected, will list all the available X Servers for 
further operations.
