The Xstrahl RADiant Therapy filter is made of aluminium and be up to a
maximum physical thickness of 3mm. The materials and thickness, in
combination with the kV for the clinical filter, give a resultant HVL as
measured by the physicist; the HVL achieved will affect the percentage
depth dose achieved.

HVL’s.

acceptance test document.

Installing the filter
To remove the filter:
1.
Select the required filter and insert into the fully into the sub-tube
assembly, until it clicks into position. Each filter is numbered.

To remove the filter pull the handle and remove it from the sub tube.
