3)  When the reading is stable and appears

  icon, press the

  button to confirm, the display

shows

End

and the meter enters measurement mode.

Perform also

Calibration in air at 100%

. The calibration remains in memory even after the instrument is

turned off.

3.3  Calibration interval

The time interval between two calibrations (100% in air) depends on the type of sample, the efficiency of

the sensor and the accuracy sought, it is usually necessary to calibrate the meter at least once a week, for

greater accuracy calibrate the instrument more frequently.

You must recalibrate the instrument if occurs one of the following conditions:

New probe or unused for long time

After replacing the luminophore

3.4  Due calibration

– GLP function

On  this instrument,  you  can  set  an  expiration  of  calibration,  after

which  the  instrument  displays  an error message,

Er  7

,  and does

not allow new measurements until a new calibration is performed

at 100% in air.

By default this feature is disabled. To activate go to the parameter

P5.1

of setup menu, and set the number of hours ("H00") or days

("d00")  indicating  the  expiration  of  the  calibration.  To  turn  it  off,

select "no".

3.4.1  Date and time of the last calibration

– GLP function

To check the date and time of last calibration access  parameter

P5.4

of setup menu, if it's been a long

time then recalibrate the instrument in air at

100%

If the

key is pressed when the reading is not stabilized yet,

Er2

 will appear on the display.

Note:

If we set d02 in P5.3 of setup menu, it means that the instrument will work for 2 days, after which you have to recalibrate in

order to make a new measurement. The same applies for the hours.
