Using multiple satellites via DiSEqC 1.0/1.1
The distribution of analogue and digital signals from the Astra and Eutelsat is using DiSEqC™ (Digital
Satellite Equipment Control) is possible if only one cable to be laid to the satellite receiver. This new
tax system complements the conventional switching criteria, 14/18 Volt or 22 kHz, and removes the
restrictions on maximum 4 switching states. In the simplest version of DiSEqC™ is used between two
universal LNB switch to. The 22 kHz switching circuit is used for the lower and upper frequency band
LNB.
DiSEqC 1.0 controls up to four LNB with the command position A / B and Option A / B. DiSEqC 1.1
controls up to 64 LNB, it will switch in several levels of government. For 16 LNB, take for example
four 4 / 1 DiSEqC 1.0 switch, whose outputs are then placed on the inputs of a 4 / 1 DiSEqC 1.1
switch.

Select the satellite the first satellite, and
confirm the selection with the
OK
button.
2. Press
the
INFO
button for that
configuration of the satellite.

Navigate with the arrow key
DOWN
to the
“DiSEqC” setting. Define for this satellite
with the
OK
button to select “DiSEqC
1.0/1.1”. Press the
OK
button.
4.
Two other options appear. Navigate with
the arrow key down to the setting
“DiSEqC 1.0” and select the setting “A”.
Confirm this by pressing the
OK
button.
5.
Navigate with the arrow key down to the setting “DiSEqC 1.1” and select the setting “1”.
Confirm with the
OK
button.
6. Press
the
BACK
button to return to the
satellite list.
7.
Select the satellite the next satellite and
confirm the selection with the
OK
button.
8. Press
the
INFO
button for that
configuration of the satellite.
9.
Navigate with the arrow key
DOWN
to the
“DiSEqC” setting. Define for this satellite
with the
OK
button to select “DiSEqC
1.0/1.1”. Press the
OK
button.
10.
Navigate with the arrow key down to the
setting “DiSEqC 1.0” and select the
setting “B”. Confirm this with the
OK
button.
11. Press
the
BACK
button.
12.
And so on.
You have the option of up to 64 satellites. Define, for example, under the option DiSEqC 1.0 A at a
total of 16 satellites (here in the setting DiSEqC 1.1) and then switch to Option B in the DiSEqC 1.0.
Press the
BLUE
button to start scanning. It now appears another query where you can specify
additional search parameters (see previous pages). The satellites are searched in order. All received
TV and radio stations are displayed in the two lists. After the scan, the TV and radio stations in the
two lists are stored and the unit goes into the live image of the first TV station.
