3.2.4. Adopt the verification code
After allowing access to user’s contacts in Figure 6,
enter the verification code on the screen. Each code
is valid for 5 minutes.
Enter 8 digits of verification code:
• If the code is accurate, move to the next step of the
synchonizing contacts.
• If the code is entered inaccurately, the message
“You have entered wrong verification code.
Please try again”
will display, and ask user to
re-enter the code.
If the verification code is entered inaccurately,
the user will have to start over the process.
User should ensure the stability of internet
connection on both XOR X2 and smartphone
before and during the uploading process. In case
the network is unstable, the upload progress will
be broken and you will have to start over again.
After the progress of encryption and upload to the server
have been done successfully,
“Uploaded successfully”
message will display on screen. The screen shows 10-minute
timer corresponding to the time the contacts remain on the
server. Within 10 minutes, the data will be deleted from the
server.
