Problem
Possible cause / solution
The food to be
cooked does not go
brown and crispy.
• The frying basket is over
fi
lled. Reduce the quantity of food!
• The food for cooking is moist or contains too much water
(for example frozen food). Remove the ice and dry the food
for cooking before you lower the frying basket very slowly.
• Pieces of food are too thick or contain too much water. Try a
longer cooking time. Cut the food to be cooked into smaller
pieces.
• Too great a quantity was deep-fried in one go and the frying
bath is not hot enough. Wait until the control lamp goes out.
Only ever deep-fry small quantities of the food to be cooked
(particularly with frozen food).
• The temperature of the frying bath may be too low. Set the
temperature controller to a higher temperature.
