・Do not expose to water or other liquid.
Handset, AC Charger (complimentary sample), and USB
Type-C™ Cable (complimentary sample) are not waterproof.
Do not use in high humidity (e.g., in bathrooms) or
where exposed to rain, etc. Carrying in pocket may allow
perspiration humidity to corrode handset interior and cause
malfunction. Important: Handset may not be repairable
under warranty if malfunction is determined to be due to
such water exposure. If outside of warranty, any repairs are
done at cost.
・Do not use or store in extremely hot, cold, humid, or dusty
conditions.
Always use within temperatures of 5°C to 35°C and
humidity of 35% to 85%.
・Always charge where at an appropriate temperature (15°C
to 35°C).
・Do not use in these locations.
- Where there is much humidity, dust, or vibration
- Near a landline phone, TV, radio, etc.
・Do not disassemble, modify, or repair. May cause
malfunction.
・Discontinue using handset temporarily if its temperature
becomes high. Prolonged contact with handset when at a
temperature may cause low-temperature burns.
・Do not use ethanol, thinner, benzene, etc. when cleaning
handset. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away oil, adhering
substances, and other soiling that is hard to remove.
・Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe AC Charger (complimentary
sample) and USB Type-C™ Cable (complimentary sample).
Before cleaning, unplug AC Charger (complimentary sample)
and remove USB Type-C plug on USB Type-C™ Cable
(complimentary sample) from handset
・Do not use a microwave oven or hairdryer to dry handset,
AC Charger (complimentary sample), or USB Type-C™ Cable
(complimentary sample).
・Clean terminals occasionally with a dry cotton swab. Soiling
on terminals can cause a poor connection and result in
powering off or inadequate charging. Avoid damaging
terminals when cleaning.
Internal Battery
・Battery is built in and is not removable.
・Internal Battery replacement incurs fees and requires
handset submission to a SoftBank Shop. Contact a SoftBank
Shop or
Customer Service . Do not use replace by yourself;
may cause fire, explosion, etc.
・Internal Battery is a lithium-ion battery.
・Lithium-ion batteries are precious, recyclable resources.
Do not discard of old handsets, batteries, or chargers with
ordinary waste, and instead bring them to the nearest shop
with the Mobile Recycle Network mark.
Charging
・Always use the included AC Charger (complimentary sample)
and USB Type-C™ Cable (complimentary sample) to charge
handset. Using other charging equipment may cause Internal
Battery leakage, overheating, or fire. SoftBank Corp. is
not responsible for damages whatsoever from accidents or
problems arising from use of other charging equipment.
・Do not force handset and USB Type-C™ Cable
(complimentary sample) to connect if it is difficult to
connect them.
・Do not use AC Charger (complimentary sample) if plug is
damaged or does not plug firmly into an outlet.
・Do not charge handset for more than 12 hours.
To Ensure Safe Driving
・Using handset while driving risks safety. Follow laws and
regulations of countries and regions where using handset.
Before using handset, stop vehicle in a safe place.
Display (Touchscreen)
・Handset uses a touchscreen Display. Operate with your
fingers on Display.
・Touch with your fingers lightly. Do not press forcibly with
fingers or push with a sharp-pointed object (nail, ball-point
pen, pins, etc.)
・Display may not respond to touch operation in these
situations. Note that malfunction may occur.
- Operation with gloves on
- Operation with fingernail
- Foreign object on Display
- Protection sheet or sticker applied on Display
- Operation with water drops or condensation on Display
- Operation with fingers wet or sweaty
- Operation under water
