Delay & Level screen
On the top Left of the screen you can find the Dynamic Range Compression circuit. This cicuit can be used to protect the
system for clipping signals. The Dynamic Range Compression needs to be set for each output channel and you need to
have the ability to measure the exact signal voltage of when the clipping of the output occurs. This circuit is switched off
from default, we recommend to leave this switched off unless you have acces to and know how to work with the right
measuring equipement.
The middle of the screen shows the car drawing with the system layout as in the previous screen. Again the drawing is
used to select the output channel to program.
Center right side of the screen you can find the Time Alignment settings for each output channel. Here you can program
the amount of delay each output channel needs to setup the perfect sound stage. The maximum delay time for each
output channel is 25mS.
Bottom Left shows the same Matrix as in Step 2 of the Configuration Wizard, in standard working mode this Matrix has
no function. When the DSP PRO is switched into Expert Mode quick changes to the input/output mapping can be made
with this Matrix. By default the DSP PRO is in Standard working mode.
Bottom Right shows the Output Level settings for all output channels as well as the Master Volume and Sub Volume
settings. Here you will set the output level for each output channel. You also have the option to have an output channel
Muted or not, By default all output channels are Muted!
Master volume setting gives you the option to control the total output level of the DSP PRO.
Sub Volume setting gives you the option to control only the subwoofer level of the DSP PRO, Sub Volume only works with
output CH7 -CH8 and only if these channels are selected for subwoofer application in Step 3 of the Configuration Wizard.
