Image Processor Board (IP) (PL 3.6)
Warning: Switch off power and disconnect the power cord. The
Image Processor Board contains static sensitive devices.
Caution: Follow proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) precautions
when handling the Image Processor Board to avoid
damaging this devices.
Note: If the Image Processor Board is to be replaced, there are
several components that must be transferred to the
replacement board before it is reinstalled.
Note: Print a Configuration Page, prior to removing the IP
Board. This provides a record of the network and default
settings stored in NVRAM. If a Configuration Page cannot
be printed, use CentreWare IS or CentreWare DP to view
the current settings.
1. Disconnect all cables/peripherals from the rear of the Image Processor Board.
2. Remove 2 screws securing the Image Processor Board to the printer.
3. Using the knob, pull the Image Processor Board straight out of the printer.
