Clearing Paper Jams

CAUTION: To avoid damage, always remove jammed paper carefully, without tearing it. Try to
remove the paper in the direction that it would normally feed. Any piece of paper left in the printer,
whether large or small, can obstruct the paper path and cause further jams. Do not reload paper that
has jammed.
Note: To clear jams, watch the video and follow the instructions on the control panel.
Clearing Misfeeds at Tray 1
To resolve the error displayed on the control panel you must clear all paper from the paper path.
1.
Remove any paper from Tray 1.
2. Close Tray 1.
