Basic Maintenance
Messages and replacement instructions display on the User Interface
when toner, paper, and staples need to be replenished or the
developer and toner waste bottles need to be replaced.
Follow the instructions below to clean the glass on both scanners.
Refer to the User Guide and Training Aid for instructions, and in many
cases videos, showing how to do a number of maintenance tasks.
Further maintenance information is located in the User Guide and
Training Aid CD. If you have any questions, call the Xerox Support
Center.
Pinch the green
handles to
access the
second scanner.
Wipe these areas
with a soft lint free
cloth. Do not use
paper, as it will
scratch the glass.
Practice
Raise the Document Handler and locate both scanners.
All jam clearance areas inside the system are accessible using
green handles. Open the covers and identify the jam clearance
areas.
