IPS SOLUTIONS GUIDE

InfoPrint Manager LAN connection

You must use the TCP/IP network protocol to connect your DocuPrint 
IPS printers by a LAN through InfoPrint Manager. No other network 
protocol is supported.

TCP/IP connection: Ethernet

For the Ethernet TCP/IP connection, you must have an Ethernet card 
installed inside the RS/6000. A router directs the jobs being run on 
the Ethernet to the appropriate device.
