Determine the severity of the problem. Use
the following categories to determine how
the problem impacts operation of the
printer:
— Failure: Indicates an inability to
produce a critical job.
— Error: Indicates a degradation of
performance exists but system operations
can continue.
— Information Only: Indicates there are no
system problems, but a request for
information is necessary.
