TROUBLE SHOOTING 

 

 

Remove Radio from Dash               Detachable Flip-Over Panel 

 

                                       

 

 

 

Remove Radio from Dash                         

1. Press REL button to open flip-over

  

To remove radio, insert removal keys into slots            panel 
between trim ring and radio and pull radio out.          2. Gently pull up on faceplate to remove. 

                                               Store faceplate panel in carrying case.

 No power to yellow wire

 Check vehicle fuse 

 Does not operate

 Inline fuse blown 

 Replace fuse 

 No speakers operate

 Incorrect splices or connections 

 Check all splices and connections 

 Not all speakers operate 

 Speaker wires shorting to ground 

 Check splices, insulate all bare wires 

 Power wire shorting to ground 

 Insulate wire 

 Speaker wires shorting to ground 

 Insulate wire 

 Blows fuses 

 Incorrect fuse 

 Install fuse of correct rating 

 Inf-1, 2, 3 or ,6 

 appears on display

 

 Mechanical malfunction 

 Press Reset button. 

 Inf-4, 5, 7 or 8

 

 appears on display

 

 Disc reading malfunction 

 Try a different disc. The disc may be damaged 

 or dirty. 

 Inf-9 appears on display

 

 Disc loading or eject malfunction 

 Press Reset button 

 Insert a disc and try again.
