**When the buttons are locked
“LOCK” is displayed on the
screen.
To unlock the buttons press the
“HOLD” button again.
3. Connection to PC/discon-
nection from PC
1. Connection to PC
First connect the appliance to the
USB-cord, and then insert the
USB-cord plug into the USB-jack
of your PC.
2. Disconnection from PC
For safe disconnection of the
player from your PC, right click
the “Safely Remove Hardware”
icon.
Select the required appliance and
press the “Stop” button. Click
“ОК”. After the “Safely Remove
Hardware” message (now hard-
ware can be safely removed)
appears, click on the “Close” but-
ton. If ОС Windows 98 is installed
on the PC, remove “XCube series
USB Device” on the Control
panel.
4. Record/delete file
1. Record file
- Connect the player to the
USB-jack on the PC using the
supplied USB-cord.
- Select a file for copying to the
Player.
- Move the mark of the required
file (or copy and insert the
file) to the Removable disc
[X_disk] (for instance E or F
discs).
