Install “3DR Services” and “Tower” apps on smartphone
to connect with craft.
First Flight:
Perform preflight inspection.
1.
Place X PlusOne on flat, level surface with the GPS antenna side facing you.
2.
Check that the pylons are properly installed onto the wing
3.
Check for loose parts or wires
4.
Check foam and plastic components for signs of damage
5.
Check that propellers are tight and installed to rotate in the proper direction
6.
Power on transmitter (All switches need to be in the ‘up’ position and throttle down).
7.
Install battery by facing the battery wires down and running the cable along the length of the
battery compartment, underneath the battery (see picture). Connect power to the craft by
matching the yellow ends of the both power cords together. The power cords will connect one
way. The battery balance cable is left loose.
8.
Press and hold safety button, next to battery compartment, until it is solid red (If it does not
turn solid red, please disconnect the battery and restart the process). Indicator LED in the
center of the wing, should be flashing green; at connection of pylon.
9.
Put the battery cover on the battery compartment to enclose the battery and all wires.
