1. Select where to mount the camera. It is best to position the camera so that the
display screen preview shows the largest possible area in front of the car. Make
sure that the camera does not obscure the driver's field of view while driving.
2. Install the mount on the windshield, then attach the camera to it.
3. Route the USB cable as shown above.
4. Connect the mini USB plug to the mount.
5. Place the second camera at the back of the vehicle.
6. Route the AV cable to the recorder in such a way so it does not distract the
driver while driving.
7. Connect the AV plug to the AV port in on the dash cam.
8. Plug the charger into the 12/24V cigarette lighter socket.
REAR CAMERA INSTALLATION:
The mounting location of the secondary camera supplied with the kit depends
on your preference. The camera has an IP67 (weatherproof) waterproof rating.
MOUNTING THE REAR CAMERA:
Connect the black cable to the AV port on the main unit, drag the secondary camera
to the mounting location and connect it. Make sure the master device sees
the secondary camera (if not, check that the cable is properly connected
on both ends).
REAR CAMERA INSTALLATION:
connect the rear camera wires to the reversing light wiring (red = plus).
This connection will allow you to use the device as a reversing camera.
The wiring placed on the outside of the vehicle should be properly insulated and
not tightly stretched.
06. G ETTING STARTED
1. Insert the micro SD memory card (formatted to FAT32 file system).
NOTE: Please insert and remove the memory card only when the device is turned
o .
2. Mount and connect the camera to the power supply.
3. Set in menu:
a. D ate and time.
b. Loop recording (adjust recording time). If you turn o loop recording, files won't
be overwritten.
c. Set the highest available resolution.
d. Set the G-Sensor to the lowest possible sensitivity so that the camera does not
secure recordings made on bumpy roads.
4. The camera will start recording automatically every time you turn it on (as long
as your car does not have a constant power supply in the cigarette lighter socket).
5. To avoid unnecessary recordings taking up space on the memory card, only turn
on MOTION DETECTION mode when parked.
