The An-Home app is constantly being enhanced, revised and improved. Thus, it is
impossible to state all its features. However, the handling is quite intuitive, so any
new feature is self-explanatory.
The components of your X4-LIFE alarm system
Smart hub:
This is the central unit of your system and is constantly connected
to the internet via your Wi-Fi router. It is important that you are within the range
of your wireless network if you would like to use the Smart-Home features. The
smart hub also has a small battery, so the siren will still work even in case of
a blackout or if the hub is no longer connected to an electrical outlet. You can
connect up to 50 transmitters to the smart hub. Additional transmitters are
available in stores. The integrated battery is charged in the background. If an
intruder pulls the power cord, the hub will still be active thanks to the built-in
battery and even a blackout will not be a problem. This makes any tampering
extremely difficult.
remote control:
Arm or disarm the unit, switch to Home mode or trigger a
panic alarm. Hit the panic key to immediately trigger the siren and signal an
alarm on the connected smartphones. Hit the open lock key (deactivate) to
abort. The remote control is in „Normal“ mode at all times. Item no.: 701553
Motion sensor:
The motion sensor detects movement within a range of
approximately 8 m and will trigger an alarm. Item no.: 701555
Magnet sensor:
This transmitter is used for securing doors and windows. If
both of the two sensors are moved apart for more than 1 cm, an alarm will
be triggered. The tolerance of 1 cm allows to secure windows and doors with
slightly offset frames. Doors and frames are sometimes not precisely in line but
