FREEDOM HARNESS INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING!  Before  using  this full-body fall arrest harness in the

STEP 1. 

Identify and become familiar with all parts of 

your full-body fall arrest harness. (Fig. 1)

STEP 4.   

With   the  leg  strap 

secured, connect the buckles 

on  the  chest  strap.  Tighten 

both  the chest strap and the  

lower torso straps by  pulling 

on the tag end (loose end) of 

each strap. (Fig. 4) Once straps  

are tight slide tag end  (loose 

end)  of  the lower torso strap 

through  the  slots  on the  

lower torso pads to secure.

STEP 3.  

Once  the  full-body  fall

arrest harness is on. Slip each leg 
strap   between   your   legs    and 
engage  the  buckle.  Pull  the tag 
end  (loose  end)  of  the  strap  to 
tighten   the   legs   straps   for   a 
comfortable yet snug fit. Make
certain the leg straps and pads are
not twisted.(Fig. 3) 

WARNING!

 You MUST connect your   

leg    straps   as    outlined.    Improperly  

securing the leg straps and buckles can 

and may lead to harness failure. Failure   

to follow  these  instructions may  result 

in serious injury or death!    

STEP 2. 

With the buckles on the chest strap and leg

straps  disengaged,  slide  one arm through the arm  

hole in the full-body fall arrest harness.  Repeat step  

for other arm. (Fig. 2) 

This instruction manual complies with ASTM F2337 Standard Test Method for Treestand Fall Arrest Systems.
