The measuring tool is supplied with
an English warning sign. Before put-
ting it into operation for the first time,
paste the English text of the warning
sign with the sticker in the language
of your country .
LASER RADIATION
DO NOT STARE INTO BEAM

Do not direct the laser beam on
people or animals. Never look di-
rectly into the laser beam.
The beams
generated by the measuring tool are rated
as class 2M laser beams in accordance with
IEC 60825-1. – Looking directly into a laser
beam can damage your eyes, especially
when using concave optical instruments such
as binoculars etc.

Do not leave children unattended
with the laser measuring tool.
They
could blind somebody unintentionally.
■
Do not use the measuring tool in
explosive atmospheres or near flam -
mable liquids, gases or dust. Meas-
uring tools produce sparks that can ignite
vapours or dust.
■
In order to protect the device from being dam-
aged, remove the batteries if the device is not
in use for a prolonged period of time.
■
Only use genuine Würth accessories
and spare parts.
When using non-
recommended accessories, you may receive
incorrect measuring values.
