• Regardless of how the cradle is suspended, always make sure that it is at least 50 cm from the
floor when not in use, i.e. when the baby is not in it. The baby must never come in contact with
the floor while bouncing up and down. If you are using our Baby Cradle Motor: Regularly check
the number of springs in relation to your baby’s weight, so that the load is optimally distribut-
ed.
• Ensure that the baby cradle is always suspended freely rotating (e.g. installed on a swivel). Our
frames and ceiling hooks are designed to rotate freely.
• Assembly must be done on a level floor and be carried out by an adult. Any fixtures such as
ceiling hooks must be attached by a suitably qualified person. For ceiling installation: It is
necessary to check whether the wall/ceiling provides sufficient structural support. Installation
materials must be selected appropriate to the nature and condition of the wall/ceiling.
• The maximum load capacity of the baby hammock is 20 kg (44 lbs.) and is therefore suitable
for newborns and babies up to about 2 years of age.
• During use, make sure the cradle can move freely at all times. It is imperative that obstruc-
tions or dangerous objects above, below and next to the hammock be removed prior to use.
The baby cradle must not be placed near other objects that could pose a risk of suffocation or
strangulation. These can include cords (for instance for curtains or blinds), etc.
• Only use original parts and accessories from Wunderwiege GmbH. Do not carry out any adjust-
ments while the baby is in the hammock. For reasons of safety, it is not permitted to make any
alterations to the product.
• Once the baby is able to sit up without support, baby hammocks may only be used when the
baby is strapped in using the safety belt.
