DESCRIPTION:
This extractor is designed to remove broken portions of 1 1/4" Train-line pipe. It has
no other intended uses.
1 1/4" TRAIN-LINE EXTRACTOR INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Inspect the extractor prior to use. Remove the extractor from service if any of the tines are
broken, or the extractor is excessively worn (Figure 1).
2. Place the extractor into the broken train-line pipe to be removed (Figure 2). Strike the end
of the extractor lightly with a hammer to seat it firmly into the pipe.
3. Use a 1 3/8" combination wrench or large adjustable wrench to turn the extractor counter-
clockwise to remove the broken pipe.
4. When the broken portion of pipe has been removed, turn the extractor clock-wise to
remove it from the pipe.
