Measuring the D. O. concentration
Note
When measuring the concentration of test samples with a salt content of
more than 1 g/l, a salinity correction is required. For this, you have to measure
and input the salinity of the measured medium first. This is described in sec-
tion 4.3.3 E

Before measuring the oxygen, you have to switch on the salt content correc-
tion (see below).
You can measure the oxygen content without a salt content correction as fol-
lows:

Proceed as follows to switch on the salt content correction:

Perform the preparatory activities according to section 4.2.1.

Immerse the D. O. probe in the test sample.
3
Press the

key repeatedly until the D. O. concentration in
