3.12 Extending the cable length between the sensor and
DIQ/S 181
General information The DIQ/JB module is a passive module and can be used to extend the
length of the sensor cable, e.g. to connect a sensor located farther
away to the universal transmitter.

For the locally separated connection between Universal Transmitter
and DIQ modules the following cables can be used:

SNCIQ cable

SNCIQ/UG earth cable - suitable for underground laying in accor-
dance with VDE 01816, Part 2 and DIN/VDE 0891, Part 6.
The cables are delivered as piece goods (please specify length when
ordering!).
NOTE
The sensor cable may only be connected to the SENSOR connections.
No wire of the cable may be connected with an external electrical po-
tential. Otherwise, malfunctions could occur.

Please note the following points for the connections of components:

The line length from the sensor to the DIQ/S 181 may be up to
250 m

lines must always be installed separately at a minimum distance of
20 cm from any other lines carrying a voltage greater than 60 V.
