4.5 Firmware update
The firmware is the operating system of the device. New firmware is required from time to time as the diagnosis
functionality of the WOW! software gets enhanced. This is made available online or by way of a DVD update and must be
copied to the device following the software update.

3. The update assistant will be launched.
The procedure is described in detail while the program-
ming is running.
Follow the instructions.
Note!
The update takes a while to complete. Please
note that the power supply of the
device must not drop below 12V.
Connect to a power source if necessary.
