Make sure that the sanding paper faces firmly against the base plate
(8). Fold the sanding paper around and clamp the other end in the
same manner.
Sanding paper without holes, e. g. from rolls or by the meter, can
be punctured with the paper punch (10) for use with dust extraction
(See B).
Dust extraction
Dust extraction prevents large accumulation of dust, high
concentrations of dust in the ambient air and facilitates disposal.
For long periods of working with wood or for commercial use on
materials that produce dust that is detrimental to health, the machine
is to be connected to a suitable external dust extraction device.
USING THE DUST EXTRACTION ADAPTER (See C)
Your sander is equipped with a dust extraction adapter (12), which is
designed for collecting dust task. Insert the dust adapter (12) into the
rear dust outlet of sander. Then pull the dust adapter and make sure it
is tightened securely on the dust outlet. Then connect the hose of a
vacuum cleaner.
First please turn on the vacuum cleaner, and then turn on the sander.
If you stop sanding, first turn off the sander, then turn off your
vacuum cleaner.
DUST BAG (See D,E)
For small sanding jobs, a paper dust bag can be used.
Always operate your sander with the dust bag fitted. For the best
performance always empty the dust bag in time. Open the zip and
empty the dust from the bag. To remove the bag, slide the mounting
bracket out and away from the sander(See D). To refit the bag, firmly

push the mounting bracket into the location on the sander housing.
(See E).
Empty or replace dust bag regularly to ensure optimum dust
extraction.
Operating instructions
SWITCHING ON AND OFF (See F)
To
start
the machine, press the On/Off switch (1) and keep it
depressed.
Lock
the pushed On/Off switch by pressing the lock-on
button (3). To
switch off
the machine, release the On/Off switch (1).
When locked on with the switch lock-on button (3), briefly press the
On/Off switch (1) and then release.
VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL
With the variable speed control dial (2), the required speed can be
selected (also while running).
The required speed is dependent on the material and is to be
determined by a practical trial.
After longer periods of working at low speed, allow the machine to
cool down by running it for approx. 3 minutes at maximum speed
with no load.
