SHIFT CONTROL ROD ADJUSTMENTS

When the transmission is in neutral, adjust the shift control

rod so that the switch travel is compressed more than 5 mm.

To adjust the shift control rod, remove the hair pin on the top

of the shift control rod, pull out the shift rod from the gear

shift lever, turn the shift control rod as needed, then reinstall

all parts in proper order. FIG16.
