Switching On and Off / Toggle Button
The on/off switch (2) is located on the handle of the belt grinder. The switch can be
locked in place with the use of the toggle button (3) on the side of the belt grinder.
Press the on/off switch (2) and subsequently the toggle button. The machine now runs
in continuous operation. The lock is disengaged by means of another pressing of the
on/off (2) switch.
Setting the belt speed
Use the adjustment wheel (14) to preset the belt speed. This is possible even during
operation.
Moving the wheel in the direction of the “6” will increase the speed. Moving the wheel in
the direction of the “1” will decrease the speed. The required belt speed depends on the
material and the working conditions.
Surrounding Conditions
The power tool is designed for 230 Volt alternating current voltage with a power
frequency of 50 Hz. Check whether the extension cord is undamaged and is correctly
connected to the electrical socket of the power grid and the power plug of the power
tool. Your professional advisor will be happy to inform you about the selection of the
correct extension cord.
Setting-up Operation
As a basic principle, always wear protective glasses, hearing protection, protective gloves
and close-fitting work clothes when working.
