Troubleshooting

The following troubleshooting tables cover common problems that may occur with this machine. If you
need replacement parts or additional troubleshooting help, contact our Technical Support.
Note:
Before contacting Tech Support, find the machine serial number and manufacture date, and if
available, your original purchase receipt. This information is required to properly assist you.

6. Motor brushes worn out.
7. ON/OFF or circuit breaker switch at fault.
8. Motor at fault.

3. Belt slipping/pulleys misaligned/oil or grease

6. Dust collector undersized.
7. Pulley/sprocket slipping on shaft.
8. Motor overheated, tripping machine circuit
breaker.
9. Motor or motor at fault.

2. V-belt worn, loose, pulleys misaligned, or belt
slapping cover.

5. Motor fan rubbing on fan cover.
6. Cutterhead bearings at fault.
7. Motor bearings at fault.
1. Inspect/tighten loose bolts/nuts; replace damaged
components; shim under planer.
2. Tension/replace belt (

4. Re-align/replace shaft, pulley set screw, and key.
5. Fix/replace fan cover; replace loose/damaged fan.
