and may only work with the machine under
supervision.
•
Only specialists should install, repair and
service the electrical wiring.
•
Pay attention to the direction of the engine
– see the electrical connections.
•
Turn off the machine before correcting
defects on the machine. Pull out the plug.
•
Persons who do not understand how the
machine works should not operate it.
•
Only do maintenance work, or change
filters or hoses when the machine is un
-
plugged.
•
In areas where there is a danger of explosi-
on, only special “ex-protected units” may be
used.
•
Only use original parts.
•
Check the machine for proper functioning
before every start-up.
•
Do not use the machine at temperatures
below 0° C. There is a danger that the
housing could be damaged.
•
When leaving the workplace, turn off the
motor. Unplug the machine.
•
Even when the machine has to be shifted
slightly, unplug it from an external source
of current! Before it is started up, recon-
nect the machine to the power source!
Attention! If the electrical cable is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its customer service department or other
similarly qualified persons. The machine is
not suitable to be used to suck up flammable
liquids.
Appropriate Use
Attention!
The extraction unit is solely to be used to
clean standing stoves and chimneys for
wood burning when they are cold.
Do not extract smouldering or burning
objects.
Do not suck up water or other liquids.
Do not suck up poisonous or acidic materi-
als.
Do not use the machine on oil-burning ovens
or heating tanks.
The machine conforms to the valid EU machine
guidelines.
•
The machine has been built according to
the current technical standards and safety
regulations. Nonetheless, its use could
bring about danger to the body and life of
the user or other persons, or could lead to
impairment of the machine and other mate-
rial assets.
•
Only use the machine when it is in a tech-
nically perfect condition, and only use it in
appropriate manner, aware of the potential
dangers and according to the operating
instructions! In particular, correct (or have
corrected) immediately any defects
that could lead to a compromising of the
machine’s safety.
•
Please note that our equipment is not con-
structed for commercial, trade or industrial
use. We take no responsibility when the unit
is used in commercial, trade or industrial
contexts or for purposes that are compara-
ble to the same.
•
Check the filters regularly for damage. Re
-
place damaged filters! Check the housing
and the gaskets regularly.
•
When using the cleaning jet, do not suck up
any foreign bodies such as screws, nails,
scraps of plastic or wood.
•
The machine should be operated only
with the manufacturer’s original parts and
accessories.
•
Do not extract wood dust and saw dust in
industrial settings.
•
Any uses beyond those described here are
considered inappropriate. The manufacture
does not take any responsibility for dama-
ges resulting from inappropriate use; any
risks and responsibilities shall be borne by
the user alone.
•
The manufacturer’s safety, operating, and
maintenance regulations, as well as the
parameters given in the technical data must
be complied with.
•
Pay attention to suitable accident preven-
tion regulations and all other, generally
recognised safety rules.
•
The machine may be used, serviced and
maintained only by those persons who are
familiar with it and who have been inst-
ructed about potential dangers. Unautho-
rised changes to the machine nullify the
manufacturer’s liability for any damages
that result therefrom.
•
Only use the machine with original,
manufacturer’s accessories.
Residual risks
The machine has been built according to the
most current technical standards and recog-
nised safety rules. Nonetheless, when wor
-
king with it, certain residual risks remain.
•
There is a health risk associated with dust.
It is imperative to use personal protection
equipment such as safety goggles and a
dust mask.
•
It is possible to breathe in dust when
closing and changing the receptacle. If
the directions for disposal as given in the
operating instructions are not followed (for
example the use of dusk masks P2), dust
can be inhaled.
•
There is a health risk associated with noise.
The acceptable noise level is exceeded
when working with the machine. It is impe-
rative to use personal protection equipment
such as ear protection.
•
There is a danger associated with electrical
current if improper electrical wiring is used.
•
In spite of all preventive measures, some
hidden residual risks remain.
•
Residual risks can be minimised if the
operating instructions as a whole and, in
particular, the sections on “Safety Instruc-
tions and Appropriate Use” are complied
with.

Maintenance
Attention!
Before beginning to make any changes on
the machine, or any maintenance work
1. Unplug the unit!
2. Wait until the motor has cooled down.
Regular maintenance is absolutely neces
-
sary for the unimpeded functioning of your
machine.
Cleaning
Always keep the unit clean and orderly!
Only clean the motor with a rag. Avoid hosing it
down with water under pressure.
Do not use any cleaning or solvent fluids: these
could damage the plastic parts.
In particular, the suction nozzle and the filter
must be carefully cleaned and maintained in
order to avoid damage.

The filter unit (9) can be removed for replace
-
ment or cleaning by turning and pulling it out.
The filter can be cleaned by blowing it through
with compressed air at a low pressure.
