Installation and Setup



Next, mount the safety bar. The bar prevents the kiln operator from locking
him/herself in the kiln chamber. To do that, mark and drill the mounting holes as
shown on the drawing 3-23. Drill only through the outer skin of the kiln using a 11
mm drill bit. Next, install the rivet nuts (the squeeze size on the riveter indicator
should be set at 1 mm). Bolt the safety bar to the chamber wall and mount the
safety bar stop bolt as shown on the picture 3-24.
