Adjusting the Brake Rod and Bowden Cables

See Photo 3-3 

1.

If  it  is  necessary  to  replace  the  brake  rod,  first  pass  the  new  rod  through  the  handles
mounted on the frame.  

See Photo 3-4 

2.

Install the jam nut (3) on the brake rod (1) from the side of the overrun assembly. 

3.

Then screw the brake rod (1) in the sleeve of the fork head (2) all the way and secure with
the jam nut (3).
