Auxiliary Guide Adjustments

Auxiliary guides are provided at the front and rear ends of the machine.
To adjust the front guide, loosen the locking handles and slide the assembly in or out so
the roller contacts the side of the workpiece. Retighten the locking handles. Turn the
adjustment bolt to adjust the pressure of the guide roller against the workpiece.
Adjust the front guard plate as close to the workpiece as possible without interfering with
the travel of the workpiece. Loosen the locking knobs and slide the plate toward or away
from the workpiece as desired. Retighten the locking knobs.
