Always use the seat straps
.
The Rocky Mountain Saddle Bags and racks are designed for these, as the
seat straps distribute the weight of the bag. Failure to use the seat straps can result in damage to the bags,
motorcycle and bodily harm. This will also void any and all warranties.
Loading the bags.
You can load the bags either on or off the bike. The waterproof liners can be filled in or out
of the Rocky Mountain Saddle Bags.
11- Loading and unloading the bags while on the racks: You will have to loosen the four cam buckles on the
upper and lower side mounting straps to release the compression of the bag; doing this will make the waterproof
liners slip in and out much easier.
12- When closing the Rocky Mountain Saddle Bags drop in the waterproof liner. Make sure you have rolled the
liners down to “burp” and let as much air escape as possible.
