GLOBAL TOUCH PAD
The global touch pad allows:
•
Turn all zones off.
• Allow the zones to be energized.
• Lock the unit.
• Unlock the unit.
• Access User Options Mode.
• Access Diagnostic Mode.
The Auto-Lock is disabled from the factory. Auto-Lock can be
turned on in the User Options Mode.
If the cooktop has one or more active zones, touching turns
all zones off.
CONTROL ZONE TOUCH PAD
The control zone touch pad allows:
•
Turn on or off the rear zone.
•
Turn on or off the front zone.
•
Turn on or off the single, center zone (IR36550).
•
Set the power level of a zone to Melt/Simmer (power
level 1).
•
Set the power level of a zone from 2 to 9.
•
Set the power level of a zone to High (power level 10).
•
Set the power level of a zone to Boost.
•
Turn on or off the Bridge between vertically adjacent
zones.
•
Indicates a zone surface temperature above 122°F
(50°C).
Induction Cooktop Zone Control
Energizing a zone is the same for all zones on the cooktop.
1 Place the cooktop in Idle mode.

Touch , , or to select the zone to energize. The white
area on the icon is the zone being selected.
3 Touch a power setting:
•
- Melt/Simmer (power level 1).
•
- Power level from 2 to 9.
•
- High (power level 10).
•
- Boost.

To bridge vertically adjacent zones, touch .

Touch , , or to turn the zone off. Touch to turn all
of the cooktop zones off.
LOCK MODE
To place the cooktop in Lock Mode:
•
With the cooktop in Idle Mode, touch and hold for three
seconds to lock the cooktop.
IDLE MODE
To place the cooktop in Idle Mode where a zone can be
energized:

If the cooktop is locked, touch and hold for three
seconds to unlock the cooktop. The cooktop enters Idle
mode.

If the Auto Lock is disabled, touching places the cooktop
in Idle mode.
USER OPTIONS MODE
Place the cooktop in User Options Mode to adjust the following:
•
Annunciator Volume
• Annunciator Frequency
• Auto-Lock
• LED Brightness
To access User Options Mode:
1 Place the cooktop in
Lock Mode

Touch and hold for five seconds. The cooktop enters
User Options Mode.
