Assembly
Unpacking
For transport reasons, neither the steering wheel, the driver’s seat nor the grass-catcher have been mounted. Be careful when rolling it off the
pallet, so that the mowing blades will not get damaged. After removing the packaging, check the machine for any possible damage.

Steering Wheel (Fig. M1)
Assemble as follows:
1. Position the front wheels for straight-ahead driving.
2.
Plug the steering wheel onto the steering column, being sure that the drilled holes align.
3.
Press the dowel pin into the drilled hole and use a hammer to drive it all the way in.
Seat (Fig. M2)
Assemble as follows:
1. Remove the protective plastic from the seat.
2.
Unscrew the nuts from the seat mounting plate.
3.
Fasten the seat onto the seat mounting plate using the two bolts, split washers and nuts.
4.
Connect the leads for the safety switch.
Grass-catcher (Fig. M3)
The grass-catcher is pre-assembled. For correct mounting (fitting the lid into the wheel cover of the tractor), we recommend taking the fol-
lowing steps:
1.
Take the pre-assembled lid (1) of the catcher box out of the box, tip the front frame (3), put in the top bolts (2) and tighten them slightly.
Put the grass-catcher prepared in this manner onto the retainers for the catcher box on the rear of the tractor, and align the wheel covers.
Tighten the bolts (2) firmly.
2.
Open up the sack (3) by hand and set it on the rear lifting grip, doing so with the intake opening of the basket facing upwards. Put the
lower tube (9) into the sack, unscrew the M5-nuts from the bolts (10) under the lid of the basket, and put the corner supports (8) under
the top tubes, screw the M5-nuts onto the bolts (10) and tighten them slightly.
3.
Tilt the left-hand and right-hand braces (5). Put the lower retainer (7) onto the grass-catching sack from the outside and fasten loosely
with bolt (6).
4.
Put the grass-catcher into the retainers on the Trac and check whether the lid and wheel covers are in alignment. Since the bolts are
only loosely tightened, it is still possible to correct the positioning.
5.
If it is not possible to reach the position of the catcher box desired, you will have to raise or lower the retainers of the catcher box on
the rear of the Trac.
6.
Take off the grass-catcher, tighten all the bolts and fasten the grass-catching sack to the tube frame with the plastic clamps.
7.
Stick the emptying lever (11) through the holes in the lid of the catcher box and tube frame and fasten with the M5x12-bolts and M5-nuts
(the nuts are in the tube).
Note: After assembling, check all the bolts and nuts to be sure they are tightened snugly.
Attaching the Grass-catcher (Fig. M4/M5)
1. Grasp the grass-catcher with both hands by the grips provided to do so and set the box at an angle of approx. 40° to the rear panel of
the Trac.
2.
Set the grass-catching basket in the two retainers such that it is centred (Fig. M4, 1).
3.
When the basket is correctly positioned in relation to the rear panel, stick the marking sticker on the lid such that the corner of the
triangle meets the corner of the same sticker on the Trac (Fig. M5, 1). This will make it much easier for you in the future to attach the
grass-catcher so as to be positioned exactly.
Warning
The grass-catcher actuates the safety switch for this mower. It can only be started when the grass-catcher is attached. Any alteration to the
functioning of the micro-switch could be very dangerous for the user.
Preparations before the first Time of Use
The riding lawn mower is delivered without any petrol for safety reasons.
