IR-Temp 100L
5. Warnings
The IR-Temp 100 L is equipped with a laser spot to simplify the identification of
the measuring surface area. It appears as a red spot on most of the surfaces and
has an energy of less than 1 mW with a wavelenght of 660 nm, corresponding to
a „Class II“ laser.
This laser class can damage the eyes. Please regard the warnings, therefore!
WARNING:
• Do not stare into the beam. This can damage the eyes.
• Avoid reflections of the laser on shining surfaces as polished metal, glass etc.
This refection is as dangerous as the direct beam.
Class II
A class II clasification conforms to a wavelength of 400 - 700 nm in the visible
area.
The maximally allowed power is 0,001 W (1,0 mW).
