Clean the bearing surfaces

Lubricate the bearing surface Ø50.2

with KLÜBER MICROLUBER grease.
Insert the entire spindle assembly into the plate. First insert the spindle assembly with the
shorter clamping screw

at the front and then proceed with the rear ones in the order of
length.
When all spindle assemblies have been inserted, fit the shaft bearing

and use the M6
cylinder screw
-a-
to screw home with 8 Nm.
Use the M8 cylinder screws

to screw spindle assembly home with 20 Nm.

Removal
Release the M6 cylinder screw

and remove the shaft bearing

Release the M8 cylinder screws

. Lift the entire spindle assembly from the plate. First
release the rear-most spindle assembly with the longest clamping screw

and then
remove the front ones in the order of length.
Release the M8 cylinder screws

and pull the clamping screw

out of the hole using
the clamping bolt

Release the clamping bolt

and then the clamping screw

General cleaning / lubrication
Lubricate the mechanical clamping elements on a regular basis depending on how often the
system is used.

Troubleshooting, eliminating faults
Clean the support and bearing surfaces.
Check the position of the MNG plate. This can be done using the alignment aid (4.1.3).
8.1
Clamping screw / clamping bolt not moving freely
Dismantle, clean and lubricate as described in Section 7.3. If necessary, remove as described
in Section 7.2
8.2
Alignment bolt seized up, system cannot be opened
Open clamping screw as far as possible; use
plastic hammer to tap on the clamped
component - from the side oposite of the
clamping screw.
This should loosen the alignment bolt and
move it into the release position. If
necessary, turn clamping screw back again.
Check the system.

Taking out of service
The clamping device and all accessories can be disposed of as scrap metal without any risk.
