Before use
The appliance may be used only for the intended purpose and in accordance with this
instruction manual. For this reason, please read the instruction manual carefully before
use because it provides instructions for using, cleaning and caring for the appliance. We
accept no liability for any damage caused by a failure to follow the instructions. Keep
this instruction manual in a safe place and pass it on to any subsequent user together
with the appliance. The safety precautions must be observed during use.

Additional safety information
▪ The product may only be used in closed, dry internal spaces, it must not get damp
or wet! Never place the product near a shower, bath or similar. There is a risk of
electrocution!
▪ Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight or strong vibra-
tions.
▪ The socket strip must be connected to an earthed wall socket with a mains voltage
of 250 V~, 50-60 Hz.
▪ The whole power consumption of all connected consumers must not exceed
3680 W.
▪ The appliance may only be operated in dry, closed indoor spaces.
▪ The safety instructions in these operating instructions must be followed at all times.
▪ Read the operating instructions through carefully, keep them in a safe place and
pass them on to other users of the socket strip.
▪ Never touch the socket strip or connecting cable or mains plug with wet hands, as
you could risk getting an electric shock.
▪ Connect the appliance to alternating current only and the voltage indicated on the
appliance’s type label. The power cable and plug must be dry.
▪ The appliance and the power cable must be protected from the effects of heat.
▪ Make sure that the socket strip is connected so it does not represent a trip hazard.
▪ The device is live unless the mains plug is disconnected.
▪ Check the socket strip and the electrical devices to be connected for damage before
every use. Damaged electrical devices, bent power cables and bare wires increase the
risk of electric shock.
▪ Do not overload the socket strip. Note the connected load in the “Technical specifi-
cations” chapter.
▪ Do not connect socket strips together! This can overload the socket strip! This
represents a fire hazard!
▪ Connect the earthed mains plug on the socket strip directly into a wall outlet, for
example. Do not connect further socket strips to the socket strip.
▪ Do not cover! At increased connected loads, the socket strip and the connection
cable warm up, which can cause overheating and even fire if the device is covered!
▪ The device is live unless the mains plug is disconnected!
▪ Do not use the product if it is damaged (e.g. casing, mains cable, mains switch).
There is a risk of electrocution!
