•
The station is only designed for use at 230V (220 V...240 V)/50 Hz AC.
•
Please note that the SMD rework system will automatically blow air after following operations to cool
down.
•
Use the station only in dry rooms.
•
When the system is switched on do not let it unattended.
•
Keep the system out of reach from children.
•
When this system is used in schools there must be a teaching personal to control the work.
•
Do not use the station in the near of humidity, water and flammable gases.
•
During soldering work arise toxic gases. Therefore the soldering work should be only made in rooms
with good ventilation.
•
The soldering work also should be made only on systems without voltage.
•
For the use in industry please notice the according regulations.
•
After transport and carrying the system from a cold in warm room occurs humidity.
Therefore wait 2-3 hours after transport before using the system.
•
The iron has a temperature of 160°C at minimum, do not touch flammable surfaces or persons because
this can damage health.
•
The station should not be adjusted to a too high temperature when it is not used.
•
To cool down the iron never drop it into water.
•
The station and the iron should not be brought into great mechanic force.
•
The station is also getting hot in use, therefore do place the system to a heat resistant surface and do
not cover the heat sink slots in the housing.
•
Also pay attention that the solded parts are hot and should not only be placed to heat resistant surfaces.
•
To open the system for service is only allowed certified personal.
•
To clean the system, do not use aggressive cleaners or solvents and take care that no humidity gets into
the housing.
•
If the fuse is damaged put of the 230V plug and change the fuse.
Use only a fuse with the same technical data’s.
The Display:
1.
shows the actual temperature of the soldering tip or the nozzle of the hot air gun
2.
shows the setting temperature.
3.
°C/°F display
4.
If temperature is less then set-point, “HEAT ON” appears
5.
“ERROR” indicates an error or soldering is not connected
Preparation
Keep back the transport cover for a later use or a longer storage to cover the system for dust.
•
Check the fixing of the spring of the iron holder and clip on the iron holder at the housing of the system.
•
Check if the nut of the soldering tip is fixed.
•
Connect the tube of the desoldering iron to the black intake fitting of the station.
Advise: Do not work without soldering tip, because damage of the heating system and
temperature control is caused.
Electric Connection
•
Connect the irons with the station. Put in the plug and turn the safety-nut clockwise to fix it.
•
Put in the 230V plug into a 230V source before switch on.
The system is now ready to use.
